Double Major: Course 15-3 Finance + Course 6-14 Computer Science, Economics, and Data Science

This roadmap is an ‘MIT student optimized’ guide for structuring your schedule. Course 15 always encourages you to choose courses based upon interest, not by whichever checks off the most boxes. Please read the footnotes for additional options, email: ugeducation@sloan.mit.edu or come see us in E52-150 (Suite 133). Subjects that fulfill both Course 15 & Course 6-14 are in bold.

Notes:
1 Students who are 15-3 primary major and 6-14 secondary major can choose Economics for their HASS concentration and use up to five of their 6-14 requirements toward the HASS requirement.
2 Students can choose to take both 15.417 and 15.418. Students who take 15.401 (rather than 15.417) must then take 15.418. Students who take 15.402 (rather than 15.418) must take 15.417. Majors who take only one of 15.417 and 15.418, should take 15.276 to complete their second 15-3 CI-M and their 6-14 CI-M.
3Contact the Sloan Undergrad Office for alternative options if you have taken 6.3700(6.041)/15.0791/18.600 or 15.075/18.650. Course 15/6 double majors can petition Course 6 to count 15.069 as a substitute for 14.30.
415.053 can fulfill a 15-3 Restricted Elective and can count toward the Probability and Statistics requirement for 6-14.
5With maximum double counting, 3-9 additional units are needed to accrue the 180 units beyond GIRs.
